At KP Home & Pet Care LLC, our name comes directly from us — K for Katie and P for Phil. Together, we bring decades of experience in business, property care, and customer service to give homeowners and pet owners peace of mind while they’re away.
Meet Katie (The K in KP)
Katie brings over 17 years of professional experience as a dance teacher, 13 of those as a studio owner, where she cultivated creativity, leadership, and exceptional customer service. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Art History from EUP, and her career has also included roles in both the Florida insurance industry and as a school teacher. Katie’s diverse background reflects her creativity, discipline, and ability to manage with both structure and compassion — qualities that clients immediately notice in the way she cares for their homes and pets. Her business expertise, organizational skills, and genuine passion for making all people and animals feel loved shine through in every aspect of her work.
Meet Phil (The P in KP)
Phil began his career in sales management, finance, marketing, and business training before transitioning into the private sector. In 2006, he partnered with two mentors and became a consultant focused on improving business operations nationwide. He later pursued multiple professional licenses in the home industry and went on to start his own successful home inspection company in Pennsylvania. Alongside his business accomplishments, Phil has spent many years caring for dogs and cats and began volunteering at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center by the age of 14. With a solid foundation in property care, business operations, and animal welfare, Phil brings professionalism, detail, and trust to every client relationship.
From Pennsylvania to Florida
After years of successfully owning and operating their own businesses, Katie and Phil sold their companies and home in Pennsylvania to pursue new opportunities in Florida. Both began their careers in the insurance industry, where they gained firsthand experience in risk management, property protection, and client advocacy.
That background naturally led them to create KP Home & Pet Care LLC — a service built on attention to detail, accountability, and genuine care. What started as professional experience became a mission: to protect homes and care for pets with the same diligence and respect they give their own.
With Katie’s creativity, compassion, and care, and Phil’s property knowledge and business expertise, KP Home & Pet Care LLC is more than just a service — it’s a dependable team you can trust to look after what matters most.
